(3) Should an officer leave the Corps within two years of appointment he shall at the discretion of the Officer Commanding his Unit be liable to refund all or part of the allowance made to him.
STORES.
10. A stock book for stores issued on payment shall be kept shewing the nature and value of ench article and the member of the Corps to whom it is issuet).
11. For every receipt and issue of stores there shall be a voucher. An order book for all stores required shall be kept and on receipt of the stores entry shall be uade in the stock book. The receipt vouchers shal! consist of the counterfoils of the order book, or of in- voices from the Crown Agents, or from firms or depart- ments which supply stores. Isane vouchers shall consist of receipts signed by the members of the Corps to whom the stores are issues on nu issne book with pages num- bered consecutively. The issue book shall be checked by the Administrative Coanmandlant and each signature shall be authenticated by his initials,
12. In every case the folio of the stork book shall be inserted on the voneler and the entries made on the day of issue.
13. All stores ordered from England must be obtaiu- ed in the usual manner through the Crown Agents for the Colonies.
MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS,
14. The Adjutant shall also perform the duties of Quartermaster.
15. The Corps Sergennt-Major shall also perform the duties of Quartermaster Sergeant.
16. The Administrative Commandant may, with the approval of the Governor, make regulations for the management of the Regimental fustitute.
17. (1. The following books shall be kept by the Adjutant:
(4.) Muster roll ;
(b.) Record of attendance at parades, drills, and machine gun, rifle, and revolver practices;
(c.) Account of receipts and expenditure:
(d) Stock book for stores ;
(e) Order book for stores; and
() Ammunition account.
(2.) The Officers Commanding the artillery and engineer companies will keep for their own units a recorl of attendance at parades, drills, and rifle and revolver practices.
(3.) Periodical returus and reports shall be rendered by the Administrative Commandant as prescribed in thæ
Fourth Appendix to these regulations.
APPENDICES.
FIRST APPENDIX.
TRAINING.
Gener.
[Regulation 7.]
1. For training purposes the year will be divided
into the two following periods: -
Cold weather:--15th October to 15th April,
Not weather-16th April to 14th October.
2. The number of parades shall not exceed 50 per ANDRI Such parades shall be in addition to any parades and attendances ordered for musketry instruc fiou or musketry practice,
3. The Officers Conxunding the respective Units shall fix the time and place for parades, drilk, and rifle practicgs,
4. The musketry course will be as laid down in the current Army Regulations.
5. The artillery and engineer companies will be mobilised for one month during the cold weather.
6. There will be a cap of exercise for the infantry battalion for one month during the cold weather.
7. Subject to the provisions of paragraphs 11 and 2 of this Appendix, eight days attendance, not necessarily consecutive, during mobilisation or at the ramp of exercise, as the case may be, shall be compulsory for every member of the Corps unless specially exemptel by the General Officer Commanding the Troops.
8. During the months in which the artillery company is on examination service the company may be excused from any number of drills at the discretion of the Officer Commanding the Wait.
9. The Officer Conumanding the engineer company may in his discretion exeuse from any drill any men who have come off or who are going on electric light daty,
10. Classes will be held at convenient times in each year for the instruction of members desirous of obtain- ing certificates of qualification for promotion as bon- commissioned officers.
Men over 45 but under 50 years of age.
11. Men over 45 but under 50 years of age, ir pro- nounced efficient by the Officer Commanding the Unit. shall be required to undergo only the following train- ing:-
(1) Musketry instruction and musketry practice. (b.) 21 other parades per annum.
(e.) 4 days attendance during mobilisation or at
the camp of exercise.
Men geer 50 years of age.
12. Men over 30 years of age shall undergo such modified training as may be prescribed by the General Offeer Commanding the Trops.
